Elle created the LegallyLGBT+ community to connect with, engage + support other lawyers and law students of color.
Black and other POC's make up a mere 15% of attorneys, with Black folks being a around 5% total !! There are so few Black & POC attorneys and law students and the school-led and other LGBTQ+ organizations have even fewer - so it can be a bit isolating; That's why Elle is on a mission to increase the diversity within the legal LGBTQ+ community.
